FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a complimentary 25 minute session. In this session we talk about your health history and your goals. From there, I explain what services I can or can not offer. After that, we would meet or speak 2-4 times a month (either 2, one hour sessions or 4 half hour sessions). In between sessions you have unlimited access to me via e-mail and text, for quick questions and concerns. Typically clients work with me for 6-12 months depending on their health goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. In their comprehensive program, I learned and practiced coaching techniques as well as studied over 100 dietary theories. Emphasis was placed on bioindividuality; the belief that each person has a unique set of needs, and each body will respond uniquely to a diet and lifestyle plan. I utilize this knowledge and skill set to help clients find what works for them, implement that plan, and ultimately establish healthy habits and routines.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been working in integrative health care for years and saw a need that the doctors just didn't have time to meet. They tell the patient that changing their diet is necessary, then the patient is left to try and decipher what exactly that means. I genuinely get excited helping clients understand how to make diet and behavioral changes to achieve true health!
