I communicated with Cole here about hiring him to clear our drive way. After some discussion, We agreed to hire him and he indictated he would put us on his list. There was no discussion of when he would come regarding amount of snow.
Not long after that , there was a light snow fall of about an inch. Typically snow plowers don't come if the snowfall is less thean 2 inches. Based on that experience for us, I cleared the driveway myself.
Later than day, I received a message from him on Thumbtack stating he had come by to do the drive way and asking me if I still wanted him to plow our drive way this winter.
He did not call me or knock on the door but used this forum.
I told him it was my experience that plowing does not happen if the snowfall is 2 inches or less and that he did not tell me he would come with any snow fall. I told him that we did want him to plow this winter.
I asked him to confirm and since then I have not hear a word from him.
I messaged him here as well as left 2 voicemails asking him to please let me know if he was going to plow for us or not because if not, I needed to find someone else.
He never responded so I hired someone else. My husband is disabled and we need someone to do this.
Cole told me in or first conversation this was the first year he was adding plowing to his lawn services.
He needs to communicate to his customers and not responding at all is very unprofessional.

Didn't come the first snowfall. When I called to ask him why he said his snowblower was in for repair. Then we called a week later and said that he had taken a bigger job and wouldn't be able to help me at all.
