Introduction: I have an excitement about sharing the powerful world of music with people of all ages. The study of music can and should be life changing, exiting and even healing for a student. When studying with me I am sure keep music fun, while also committing my student to a high level of technical mastery. I like to create goal oriented study for my students, so they can track real growth and achievement. Technique will flourish, and students can play the styles and songs that excite them! What I love about teaching music is the connection that is created in a teacher/ student relationships. When these relationships are funcioning at their best, amazing learning and teaching happens. And this learning and teaching pea both ways. It is always a treasure to see how my students make me a better musician.

At age 62, having been asked for decades if I was "on the radio" I challenged John to train me and my foghorn voice. My expectations were met 1000%. His command of vocal technique and music in general were outstanding, but his intuitive ability to teach those things -- and make them deliriously enjoyable -- are without peer. I look forward to many more hours of his instruction.
