FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We can structure our fee based on design time and product procurement or on a percentage of the project depending on scope of services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have a phone call or in-person meeting to understand scope and fit at no charge. Our first design meeting is to gather enough information about style, function, budget timeline etc to outline our letter of understanding so we all start off with clear objectives expectations and a process outline. Each project is different but they all have in common aligning a vision with the budget and expected completion date, and this we are well equipped to forecast. Once we get authorization to proceed, we’ll present our ideas in conceptual format, with floor plan layouts and renderings as needed and rough pricing to guide you through the decision making process. After approval we will prepare construction documents or detailed product proposals as needed. We will work closely with the contractors and trade to leverage their talents and experience to deliver a quality product efficiently. We work with product vendors that we have vetted for quality and service and we manage all aspects of procurement, damage and installation.
