Introduction: I have been an art teacher for 20 years and have a background in illustration (wine labels, greeting cards, pet portraits, children’s picture books). I enjoy creating fun, energetic images that portray movement and mood of a scene. Whether in black & white or color, my drawing style brings the characters and story to life. Some of my favorite subjects are dogs, cats, horses, and other animals, and people. My style is realistic, yet expressive, or cartoonistic. I create my artwork in a variety of mediums, including watercolors, oils, acrylics, pencil, colored pencil, pen & ink, and printmaking. I am looking forward to hearing from you. I had Jen paint a portrait of my friends cat as a Christmas gift. The painting was absolutely gorgeous and looked exactly like Monte the cat. My friends loved the portrait so much they hung it in the kitchen so they could admire it all the time. She was a pleasure to work with and I will definitely use Jen again for future work.

Jennifer created beautiful full-color illustrations for a children's picture book I wrote. She took the humor of the writing, brought it visually to life and turned it up a notch. Great project!
