Latin percussion Pablo Landrum on congas ,various Latin instructors in Boston And NYC. Also can take students during certain days in Bergen County
Must have ability or desire to read music. No young students, high school age and up. Area of teaching includes Jazz and Latin music .
Fee $45 per half hour class . $80 per hour.

I began studying drums with Tony about 20 years ago when I was 9 years old. His musical and teaching expertise helped to lay a foundation for me that I owe a lot to. I ended up studying jazz guitar at a university world-renowned for its jazz program and a big part of what got me there was my understanding of rhythm and how to practice effectively - all of which I attribute to my formative years studying with Tony. I had the benefit of working with a number of renowned musicians and educators during my time in college (Mulgrew Miller, Harold Mabern, Gene Bertoncini, Vic Juris, and more) and Tony is one of the best teachers I’ve come across.
I’ve since resumed my drum studies with Tony and I am seeing great results. He has a ton of ways to work on building coordination and ways to creatively apply the material so that you develop your own voice as a drummer. He has an incredibly vast knowledge of drums, rhythm and different styles.
Tony is an outstanding drummer and educator and his personality and sense of humor make the lessons a great time. If you are serious about your musicianship and want to take your drumming to the highest level, study with Tony!
