What a tremendous experience! Sam decluttered my closet and in the process, she came up with a list of things it was missing. Then, we met for a shopping trip. But the best part was that she’d already been to the stores. She had a ton of stuff on hold for me. I just tried it on and bought it or didn’t! Best way to shop. She’ll be coming back in the spring for the next season.

Sam got straight to work helping me identify the pieces that weren't working in my wardrobe, as well as items that were "missing" from it and that would help make dressing myself stylishly more straightforward. Sam was prompt and hard-working, and working with her has made me excited to style myself and strive to look my best each day. Her lookbook was gorgeous. Would recommend for closet audits and personal shopping.

I have had a great experience working with Three Hangers. My mother always told me that if someone is an expert enough for you to pay them, then you should let them be in control. I think when you hire a stylist, you should be willing to let them 'take the wheel'... I've avoided hiring a stylist for a long time because I I want someone who understands being a working mom, with a limited budget, and I've been nervous about engaging someone who would view me as a 'human hanger.' I have a strong sense of personal style and comfort, but I knew that I was not dressing to flatter my shape. I asked Three Hangers to identify the best way to dress for my shape and to create a short list of clothing I could mix and match for best effect (I'm a bit of a minimalist). I appreciated that Three Hangers took time to get to know my daily life, my comfort level, and my current wardrobe before making suggestions. She took time to get to know my shopping habits (thrift first, then online shopping), budget (quality at the least cost possible), and daily life (VERY busy working mom and online video personality). After an initial consult, I approved a 3 hour package of basic consulting. We did this via Skype as we're separated by a large geographic distance. She asked me to send several selfies in my daily life along with comments. I think this really helped her figure out what I was actively doing and my personality. She also did a closet assessment was firm in identifying areas of weakness in my current wardrobe, using my most used clothing. I appreciated that she was firm in identifying BOTH problems in the wardrobe and areas of strength in my figure that I should be emphasizing. Three Hangers had no problems telling me where I was going wrong AND she had no problems encouraging me to step out of my insecurities and emphasize what I have going on.... After sending the selfies and the Skype video closet assessment, she sent a spreadsheet (keep, adjust, buy, discard) utilizing my current wardrobe and suggestions for additions/subtractions and a Pinterest Board, which included a 'color story' for my fall purchases and visual aids. I am still in the process of purchasing the items similar to what she suggested, but from my current wardrobe I have tried a few types/shapes/combinations of clothing I never would have before, and a new color I was too insecure to try before, and have received high compliments from friends and family. I got my first 'WOW' ever - so that felt nice. :-) The total ended up being 4 hours, instead of 3. I feel like it was a good value proposition and sincerely should have taken 4 hours, given what she accomplished and suggested. I don't believe she actually would have charged me, but she had mentioned in passing she'd actually spent some extra time than budgeted, so I actually asked her to bill me for the extra hour. I also budgeted for a couple of extra hours recently, so I would have the freedom to show her what I put together and help confirm that I was hitting the marks she suggested or tweak it if I was missing the mark. If you're looking to book her.... Please note: I myself am somewhat of a minimalist with a great deal of flexibility and ability to take risks and a strong ability to execute orders (ie shop from a list). My experience will be yours, if you are like me. However... If you are looking for a LOT of evaluation (more than 20-30 hangers in your closet/pieces to evaluate) OR If you have a tendency to get uncomfortable with big changes/suggestions and need more in depth conversation OR if you want a deep and full assessment - including a once over of the finished project... You probably should budget about 7-8 hours for the consulting. AND If you are looking to have Three Hangers actually shop FOR you, you may have to double this. Be absolutely clear in what you want, and discuss it honestly with her before engaging so that you both have a wonderful experience, as I did. 10/10, will probably engage again for a Spring Update. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Sam! I needed a sharp, pulled-together look for a new work role/promotion, but no time or inclination to shop. Sam helped me find a budget-friendly mix of items for a professional wardrobe. Part personal shopper, part image consultant, Sam delivered items to my home to try on and select with no pressure, no stress, no lines, no fitting rooms. I am delighted with my new clothing and look forward to continuing to work with Sam. I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship. ;-)

Great experience! I had been stuck in a rut for entirely too long! Samantha was able to help me develop a new, fun and budget-friendly style. I loved that Samantha introduced me to new stores, new styles (for both work and play) and considered my personality and practical needs throughout the process. She listened intently and got to know me and my needs. Overall professionalism was great!
