Retirement always seemed like a lofty goal for me. I thought I would be one of those people that had to work until they were 80 not because I wanted to but because I couldn't afford not to. Bryan helped me see that not only is retirement possible, but that with the right plan I could even retire sooner than I thought. My experience working with First Command and my financial advisor, Bryan Parrish, was professional yet also laid back. I like to think I know a little about investing and personal finance, but I still have much to learn. Bryan took the time to clearly explain terms and ideas I was not familiar with. At no point during our meeting did I feel judged or that my business was insignificant. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I provide complimentary financial reviews and education. If the plan requires investments and insurance I am capable of aggregating those instruments from a variety of different providers giving the best options and prices for my clients.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to sit down and get to know and understand my clients to build a relationship. Then we have a meeting where we gather and analyze finances as well as educate about different strategies used by successful people. Lastly we construct a full comprehensive financial plan to pursue goals and protect the family.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a veteran of the US Navy. I have my bachelor degree in business. I have a series 7 and 66 license. I also have my life, health and casualty insurance producers licenses.
