We are constantly taking classes or webinars and working to make sure we are learning the newest techniques and the most recent trends within the photography industry. We have professional grade equipment which allows us the ability to capture images no matter what the lighting. While our main focus with our thumbtack profile is weddings, we offer many different types of photography including beach and family portraits, senior portraits, etc. We would love to capture your memories!
As a small child, I loved taking pictures. I have numerous boxes from the time I was a child up through my teenage years of pictures that I took of family members, and pets, and anything else that was in front of me. Once I became a mother, I found that I was taking hundreds of pictures of my new baby. It wasn't until a few years later that I was given my first DSLR by my husband for Christmas. I have worked with students with disabilities for many many years and while obtaining my masters degree in counseling, if you had told me I would be a professional photographer I probably would have laughed at you. But what I have found is that it is my passion. I LOVE capturing raw emotion. I love every moment of a wedding day from the prewedding jitters I capture of a bride with her girls, through the building anticipation she experiences right before she walks down the isle, all the way through to the reception and send of, we love every moment of it. And what I love more than anything is that this is a passion that I get to share and experience with my husband. We have been together since we were teenagers many moons ago and I couldn't imagine anyone else doing this with me. We can read each other, we can finish each others sentences, and know just what the other one is thinking. This makes our wedding day photography just flow. We love being able to do this together and getting to know our couples and being able to capture images that express just how unique their love story is! These are a few of our favorite things! :)
