- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We like to base our quote according to the average local price range for the area. Our discounts are based upon the size of the job, or whether there will be any additional work to follow. We do include mileage maintenance in our pricing, both according to the job, and details can be provided upon request.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to make initial contact by telephone, arrange an appointment at job site to introduce ourselves and gain insight into the project. Once the customer and I have an understanding of exact details and timeline of the job, the contract for services will be made, and we will set a time to begin. We are just beginning our relationship with Thumbtack, but looking forward to gaining new contacts with this service.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
On the job training, my training began in my early teens while working for my uncle in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a general contractor journeyman who received training in all aspects of home remodel from architectural design to finish. I was trained by him and others throughout my life. The skills I have acquired over the years I have expanded on and perfected. My work philosophy is to provide the absolute best quality work, with attention to detail, and a desire for perfection from my work. The passion and respect for this trade was instilled in me from a young age and the quality I am most proud of.
