What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first contact is usually internet based.
Second, we will set up a date for meeting in person to discuss needs of services and if we are a Match then we will sign a contract to book a date.
We will keep in touch via text/facebook/email planning out our photoshoot.
The day of the shoot! exciting! payment is due the day of the shoot. contract, if not already, will need to be signed.
My turn around is under 3 weeks on editing portraits, and up to 4 weeks on weddings. this does not include creating photo books.
I will make sure that everything delivers smoothly and that the customer is 100 percent happy with the results!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in love with photography since high school back in 2002. I have taken many online courses, and studied many different styles. I am on the board of the Sacramento Photographers. Also, I have been published in The Typical Female Magazine (The Trend'n Female), WeddingFanatic.com, TwoBrightLights, and The Bump just to name a few!
I am aspiring to become a destination photographer. I would love to take on the world doing what I love!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
While in high school I took a photography class that was strictly 35mm film. I fell in love instantly. I really loved the way you could tell a story with one photo! As I got more into it, my grandfather gifted me my first digital and it was so amazing, all the new features! I have been studying and working towards my ultimate goal, to be a destination photographer!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly Human :) I do all kinds of photo shoots from family, engagement, weddings. Birth photography, to children photography to pet photography. I love submerging myself into all types of situations so I can constantly grow in my field.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of my favorites to date was the Enchanted Woods session, 2 hours. It was a vision of mine that was brought to life. It was kind of like Little Red Riding Hood, meets Twilight. This was a Stylized shoot, so I got to pick out all the details, Dress, Hair and Make up, Dog, Flowers, Scene. This photoshoot ended up in a couple online magazines and blogs.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Pricing is always the first thing we all look at first.
Make sure you are getting what you really want! If you have to pay a little more, but it gets you your dream photo session...It is so worth it! I have done a few photo sessions where the person was not happy with their first session with another photographer, so they found me on facebook and I got to really create something special. I am not the cheapest out there for sure, but I am a very hard working, detail oriented person that only wants the best photos to come out of each shoot. I promise, we will be best friends by the end of out session!
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Does the style of the Photographer match my personal style?
The price is higher than some local vendors, what makes them stand out?
Does the vendor offer incentives, or discounts on certain types of sessions?
Will the vendor work/be flexible with my budget?
