- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
While we do not accept insurance, our rates are a reasonable $150 per hour. We also charge travel fees: $25 if the client is located in Montgomery County, or standard IRS mileage rates for those outside Montgomery County.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process starts with a simple phone call to determine a client's need and to set up an initial consultation. After that, we come directly to you, so that you and your loved one can benefit from what we call the “wrap around” approach, which is designed to provide services or identify local resources to address your area of need. We are ready to come to you, right in the privacy and comfort of your own home, providing you with emotional support, a variety of resources, and the guidance needed to walk you through this difficult time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The founder of House Calls, Beth Albanese, CTRS CPRP, CLP, has decades of experience in the mental health field as a certified recreation therapist and rehabilitation counselor. The House Calls team includes licensed therapists, certified specialists, such as counselors, recreation therapists, life coaches, addiction and recovery counselors, and experts in such behaviors as hoarding.
