Mike was very helpful throughout the entire process when dealing with my case. He spoke to my after hours and answered many questions that I had prior to me even hiring him. He kept in contact with me in the weeks leading up to my court date and managed to get my case dismissed! I’ve had extensive experience with attorneys in the past, transactional attorneys, (corporate, contract attorneys) litigation attorney’s, family law (divorce, child custody) even criminal defense lawyers when my son got into some trouble. I never thought it would happen to me, but I found myself in the fight of my life looking at literally DECADES in prison if I was convicted and I never served more than a day in jail! SCARED TO DEATH, I consulted with 5 criminal defense attorneys leaving with reservations every time, scare tactics, non-chalet attitudes, exorbitant retainers, vaguely answered questions, some seeming more interested in how I was paying vs the specifics of my case. I wasn’t sure what to do! I spent hours researching, networking, trying to find the right attorney that was knowledgeable, tenacious, with a proven track record that would fight for me; then I found attorney Michael T. Mackhanlall. First, his AVVO rating was a perfect 10 out of 10. At the time he had over 58 reviews from his clients on AVVO and they were all 5 STAR REVIEWS! When reading his client reviews, some adjectives used to describe Michael T Mackhanlall are professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy, honest, hard-working, diligent, tenacious, razor-sharp, efficient, effective, attentive, noble, comforting, insightful, eloquent, and highly respected in the legal community. He even had over 40 attorney endorsements at the time! I researched practically every criminal defense lawyer in Orlando and encountered many criminal defense attorneys with decades more experience than Mr. Mackhanlall, but with less than 1/10 of the accolades he’s received from clients and attorneys alike in just a few years of practice! I read his bio and found he served in the Airforce and was chosen for Airman of the year in 2005; to put that into perspective there were over 330,00 active duty airman in 2014; that’s a big deal! I thought Mike Mackhanlall was too good to be true! But after meeting with Mike, I knew like many others he was the one, he would definitely fight for me, I felt all the accolades were true and Mike Mackhanlall proved it many times during the fight of my life and he was by my side every step of the way! He explained what happened to me from a legal perspective, he told me what would happen in the future, what the opposition was aiming for, he articulated a plan of action and to top it off his fees were very reasonable and cost effective for such a knowledgeable lawyer! When I left his office I slept all night for the first time in months! He predicted everything that eventually happened, Mike always made me feel like my case was top priority, he answered my calls and emails promptly, he was proactive and would just pop up with useful tidbits of information, updates, reminders HE CONTACTED ME WITHOUT ASKING MANY TIMES AND IN MY EXPERIENCE LAWYERS RARELY ARE SO PROACTIVE! I Felt like he was fighting for me as hard as he would fight for himself! The most impressive part was how he argued my case using legal precedents, the opposition having an ah-ha moment realizing “oh we can’t do that” then Mike took over & it seemed like the opposition worked for him; he ran over them like a MACK TRUCK LOL! I received the best outcome for my situation and I’m convinced without Mike fighting for me I would be in a different place right now! If I could turn back the clock I would have used Mike Mackhanlall for my separation, divorce and child custody cases, I’m sure the outcome would have been better with Mack Law P.A on my side! When my son got into trouble it was the worst thing ever! I happened to call Mike for a consult and he assisted right away! He took care of all my questions, and let me know what I was to expect for the next couple of weeks. He put my mind at ease and the case was a success !!! I couldn’t thank him enough. One night I made a horrible mistake, I was trying to find a reliable but trusting lawyer and I found Mike! He took care of me, let me know what I was up against and was honest .
