Jim came out the day after I put the inquire on Thumbtack, answered all the questions that I had, they were on time, and reasonable on price. From consultation to the installation of new unit was one week. I would definitely use JRG heating and cooling again.

Jim removed a monster 40+ year old oil furnace and installed a new gas-fired boiler in my multi-family property over just two days time. Beyond the fair rate and honest work Jim put in, I greatly appreciated his professionalism, willingness to work around my tenants' schedules, and prompt responsiveness. A nice contrast to other contractors more concerned with upgrading the lettering on their truck than actually doing the work well.

I (Donna ) hired Jim for a house out in southbury, Connecticut. He finished the whole setup in a short period of time. I had bought a house that was stripped of all copper, and electrical wires. The furnace was only a metal box nothing inside. Jim came to the house asked us what we were looking for. I explained a new furnace that had multi zones for upper and lower levels. Jim explained to me the different types of units, the prices, and the amount of time it would take to install. Even though the house was being gutted ( remodeled ) Jim was able to do what he needed to heat the house in the middle of winter (January).
I sold the property in Southbury. Bought another property in wolcott, Connecticut. Same problem the house was stripped of electrical, and copper pipes. Jim worked under very hard condition and did a great job again for me. In a very short period of time. He worked with us and got us heat quickly so we were able to finish the house for sale.
I am looking for another house and Jim will be the person I call for a heating system. Anytime I have a chance, I have and will give out Jim's number.
Jim is honest, and very fair on prices. I liked how he had the paper work that explained all of the different systems to choose from, and explained everything in detail.
