I was really excited about planning my wedding. The great thing about working with True Bliss was that they stepped in to assist with all the details. On my wedding day, I didn't worry about a thing...they brought my wedding vision to life! Highly recommend for anyone looking for wedding planning help or day of coordination!

When I was asked to coordinate/host a friend’s baby shower, I had clear vision for the party but needed assistance making that vision a reality. Ambrosia was a WONDERFUL day of coordinator for the event; she is very courteous and detail-oriented. I was very impressed with the way Ambrosia listened to what I was envisioning and made sure that the baby shower was coordinated in alignment with that vision. She worked with me for two months assisting me with finalizing the list of baby shower items, managing the beverage and catering order, conceptualizing and executing the design of the tables for the shower as she kept me organized and helped bring it all together the day of the event. Not only did she help me create a timeline that I felt comfortable with, she also made sure that anything that I could have possibly overlooked or needed was taken care before I realized I needed something. She went over and beyond my expectations. I was absolutely thrilled to work with True Bliss Celebrations for this event and highly recommend their services for making your day of event run smoothly. It is worth every penny.

Written by my husband, Andrew (he won the coin toss on this one): True Bliss got Christina and I through life's most stressful scenario (outside of defusing a time bomb): executing a wedding. We highly recommend them for support in any wedding activities: planning, coordinating vendors, executing the day-of. We would probably recommend them for bomb defusal, too. They are level-headed, methodical, quick-thinking, and very enjoyable to work with. Christina and I had a decent-sized ~150 person wedding in downtown Washington, DC. We are both type-A planners, and put a lot of somewhat complicated (probably too complicated) ideas together for the day of. We sought out True Bliss to manage the day-of activities, so we could enjoy the actual wedding without throttling family members or sobbing quietly in bathrooms over vendor issues. We also wanted someone to help us deal with month-of vendor coordination. Shamarli and Ambrosia came in and provided a ton of structure and support around our wedding. They were instrumental in putting together a very detailed day-of plan that helped immensely with getting everyone where they needed to be. They continually came up with things we had missed--or new takes on things we had thought of but didn't really think through. Due dates for vendor payments, tipping recommendations, thoughts on what to do with groomsmen the day of, etc. On our wedding day, they were a constant calm presence: at no point was I worried that things wouldn't get done or balls would be dropped. I think what I appreciated most was their flexibility and willingness to adapt to our process. True Bliss came to the table with their own tools for managing communication and contracts, but when they found out we had set up a bunch of tasks in Basecamp, they were happy to use that tool to help us knock out tasks. Bottom line: I feel we got a huge amount of value for what we paid. They met with us several times to review the game plan, they did a ton of behind-the-scenes work with nailing down vendor timing and specifics, they brought a couple of last-minute items we needed for the ceremony. We were able to relax and fully enjoy our day without worrying about any logistics. Looking back on the piles of money we spent on this wedding, True Bliss gave us probably the most benefit out of any of it.
