What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices are generally quoted as a flat rate for a project. I rarely provide hourly quotes, but will in certain circumstances. Business plans, business proposals, payroll, and accounting tasks are typically assessed and quoted at a flat rate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, we at Savvy Accounting & Consulting like to get to know and understand our customer and their business. An initial intake is performed and takes an average of thirty minutes to complete. The intake may be completed via phone or Skype. We let the customer decide. The intake is designed to set realistic expectations and align our services with the customer's goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I, personally, have an extensive educational background relating to my work in the accounting, HR, and business realm. I hold two Bachelors as well as a Masters that is close to completion. Areas of study included English, writing, accounting, and business. I have also received PHR and CompTIA Project+ certifications.
