FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing will depend on the size, complexity and location of the event. It may be based on a flat fee and/or commissions from venues and vendors. I have a lot of experience working with both small and large-scale budgets, and I'm happy to work with you to ensure you get the best value for your dollar.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to learn about what you have in mind, why you are holding the event, what you hope the event will look and feel like, and what services you need. From there I can make recommendations about the possibilities that fit your budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been an event planner since 1984. (I started when I was two. :) I have produced events for 10 to 1500 attendees, with small and large-scale budgets at modest to grand venues. My formal education is Boston-based. A BS in Public Relations from Suffolk University, and a MA in Organizational and Business Communications from Emerson College. I enjoy sharing my experience and helping people navigate the complexity of planning and managing events.
