Introduction: I offer a variety of services, from guitar and songwriting lessons, to private concerts of original or cover songs. My approach to teaching is highly individualized- and the first lesson is on the house! We work together to determine your goals in our lessons. Are you looking for to learn the foundations of guitar playings, or maybe just looking to learn a song to play at a friend's wedding? Have you always wanted to write an original song, but never knew where to begin? We can do all of this and more in our lessons. Additionally, I provide private solo or duo concerts tailored to your event, ranging from a relaxed, party vibe, to a silly, crazy kids day! Like my lessons, I'll work with you to ensure the performance fits the environment you're looking to cultivate. Sharing my knowledge of guitar, songwriting, and singing is the most rewarding work for me. Finding the perfect methodology for each student carries me through my weeks and keeps me excited to embark on the next challenges a lesson might present. Seeing that moment when my students "get it," when it all clicks in place...nothing feels better to me. Performing is my other passion. Sharing music and helping to create a space where friends and family can relax, laugh, and reminisce is truly rewarding. I always love to share my original songs, but even performing the audience's favorite tunes, no matter the genre, is so much fun. That connection between me and the audience members is invaluable, when you see them singing along and can tell the music is taking them on a journey!
