FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All lessons include basic theory, their major instrument & basic piano. If theory is only wanted, the charges are 40 min lesson for $40.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Working with new clients is an exciting time. We first meet to find out our clients needs and wants. I learn of the needs and desires being addressed, the length in time on playing that particular instrument and we go from there. I give inspiration to achieve, realistically, reaching the goals. Being the inspiration is the key to successful learning. After ascertaining the needed information on goals, I engineer and implement the plan in a well defined time frame to achieve the goals. Each instrument, and each client are different and those differences are taken into consideration. I will do what is needed and warranted for each and every person.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been trained in diverse methodologies. I received both public and private lesson most of my life. I was a music minor in college, as I ascertained other degrees in different disciplines. I am also a graduate of the Armed Forces School of Music and have performed with the US Navy, US Army, CA and CO National Guard Bands. I have performed with the LA, Denver, Wash. DC, and New Mexico chapters of the Gospel Music Workshops of America (GMWA) and have toured in Japan with a group called Journey's End, my own band "Instrumentally Speaking, and performed the National Anthem for the NBA franchise the Denver Nuggets.
