Introduction: Everyone has been told how amazing and effective yoga can be for your health! What many do not realize is that different styles and poses work differently person to person!
My teaching incorporates asanas (the physical poses and practice), meditation and breath work. I work with clients on what their goals are with yoga (to relieve stress, develop strength or flexibility in the physical body, gain spiritual or mental awareness) and customize each session for their needs.
I am registered through the Yoga Alliance. I also run an immersion Yoga Teacher Training that is a Registered School through the Yoga Alliance.
My teaching experience includes:
- vinyasa flow
- restorative
- prenatal
- mommy and me
- senses yoga and meditation
- yoga workshops for non fit profit professionals working with prison population and high school youth
- intention setting and restorative yoga for elementary school teachers
- guest teacher for Mindfulness based Yoga Teacher Training for Social Work Professionals
One of the many reasons I love one on one yoga classes, is it gives the client the opportunity to discuss openly how they are feeling (both physically and mentally). Watching a client experience a moment within a pose that impacts them so deeply, makes what I do more enjoyable than I could ever imagine!
