- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We Schedule a time to meet and do a Field measure. Discuss what type stone you are interested in and go over ideas and stone choices. We bring a ample supply of samples for you to look at, since we can't carry everything we encourage you to come to our showroom where you will also be able to choose your slab. Once you have made your selection we can go over the price. We will choose your installation date and time.

- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
We’ve compiled a list of the top 5 questions that we think may be sometimes overlooked but are still important for a client to ask a prospective contractor. We hope this helps make the process of buying granite countertops in Tribeca Granite a little easier. Can you see the slabs that will be used? No two pieces of granite can ever look the same. Make sure you can see the exact slab you’ll be getting before you buy granite countertops. What techniques does the company use? How will your granite be fabricated? Make sure that your company uses the most current techniques, which will typically involve using machines to cut the slab. Is sealer applied during the installation? Granite is a porous stone and will be able to absorb liquids such as water and oil that will create stains. To help protect your countertops from this and from other wear and tear, sealer will have to be applied. This should not necessarily be a deal breaker, but it is more convenient if the company does apply the sealer for you. Who will install the granite countertops? This question ultimately comes down to trust and how you know if you can trust the company you hire. You will want to know who will be in your home and who will be in charge of your project. Are all their crews made up of employees, or do they also use subcontractors? These are important questions to ask about the people who will be coming into your home. What is the scheduling process? You should never have to wait around all day for a crew to show up; you should be able to hire a company that will value and respect your time. While there can always be legitimate things that happen to postpone milestones, your company should be able to provide you with a reliable timetable both for each individual part of the project as well as completion of the overall project. These questions can often be overlooked, especially if one hasn’t dealt with buying granite countertops before, and could lead to a potentially bad or unpleasant experience.
