- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge 6 cents a word for translation work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask the customer whom the translation is for and what they're expecting to convey with the translation. Generally, I tend to translate in as close to the original tone as possible, but it helps to understand the context that the message is supposed to be delivered in.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been studying Spanish since I was 14 years old and have many years of practical experience speaking, reading, and writing the language.
