FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A typical cabinetry project requires a 50% deposit. A typical finish carpentry project requires a 30% deposit. All custom woodwork projects are unique, and must be treated as such. Each project must be assessed throughly before any estimate can be created or deposit put down. All Cabinetry projects are priced on a per job basis, depending heavily on the options selected during the design phase. All finish carpentry projects are priced either by the linear foot and or square foot depending on the requirements of the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each new project usually starts with a phone consultation. Following the initial consultation, an onsite meeting is usually required to asses measurements and general project requirements. Blueprints will be drafted, and several additional meetings will be scheduled with the customer as color selections are made, and design choices are refined. Upon final approval of all drawings and all final selections have been made, the appropriate deposit will be collected. Your project will then be started in the order it was received. Most projects take between 4-8 weeks from start to completion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of my training has been hands-on training received on the job. I've spent the past 25 years of my life in the cabinetry and finish carpentry business, and I've worked every position in this line of work. I can't wait to help you bring your project to life utilizing the experience I've gained along the way.
