- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During the initial consultation I identify the clients goals, establish if there are any preexisting conditions or injuries and format the class to their specific needs and goals. All classes include a focus on proper alignment that is designed to be assessable to all levels of practitioners.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My training includes a Yoga Alliance 200-Hour Certification from O2 Yoga, Children's Yoga Basics from Childlight Yoga, 40-Hour Prenatal Yoga Certification from Still Point Healing, and Barre Boston Basic Training from Endurance Pilates and Yoga. I am currently working on my 1000-Hour Classical, Authentic Pilates Certification. Before yoga, I worked in Financial Services.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I moved to Boston in 2006 for a job in Financial Services, and it was then that I attended my first yoga class. After several injuries from weight training and running, yoga offered a workout that was physically and mentally challenging, athletic, yet calming and therapeutic.
