I was a guest at a wedding in which Rev. Gy Ludvig performed the ceremony. I found it beautiful, loving and uplifting. It was very personal to the couple who were getting married and was inclusive of the guests. As a guest, I felt very much a part of the proceedings. It was a lovely, satisfying ceremony to attend. I know Rev. Gy personally and know her to be a person of impeccable integrity with a fierce quest of her own truth and spiritual growth. I do not hesitate to give Rev. Rev. Gy officiated our wedding just this past New Year's Eve. She worked with us to completely personalize our service and was entirely supportive of our desire to have a very non-traditional format. Her knowledge of us as individuals and as a couple, her spiritual wisdom, and her warmth toward all our guests made it a night we'll remember fondly throughout our life together.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually charge $250 for my services. If requested to attend the rehearsal, there is an additionaly fee of $125.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with the couple and get to know them a bit. I usually ask very personal questions about how they met, what do they like the most about each other, etc. If requested, I provide pre-marital counseling. I create the ceremony with the couple, I have ideas I present, but ultimately the couple decides on what they want to have in the ceremony. I taylor it to their desire for I know that this is their big day and I am there to serve. If needed I help with the vows. I also provide material on how to run a smooth wedding.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's Degree in Counseling and a Master's of Divinity. I have officiated many, many weddings over the years.
