Karl Schultz Music Lessons

Introduction: Karl Schultz is a pianist, composer and music educator residing in Portland, OR. Karl holds a Masters of Music in composition from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a Bachelors in Music from Lewis and Clark College. Karl studied piano with Jill Timmons and Susan DeWitt Smith, and composition with Michael Johanson and David Conte. Karl Schultz offers music lesson in piano, keyboard, music theory and composition to students of all ages Karl offers piano lessons to students of all ages, from young beginners to advanced high school and college students, to adults who wish to take up the instrument again after years away from it. Karl seeks to ground his students in a solid foundation of musicianship while also having fun. Schultz is a member of the Tualatin Valley chapter of the Oregon Music Teachers Association. A devoted pedagogue, Karl brings his lifelong passion for music to his teaching. My goal is to provide my students with the foundations and the training to be the best musicians they can be.
