FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At all times, I aim to be as transparent as possible regarding fees and billing. I make sure I provide my clients with realistic quotes and ALWAYS communicate with my clients if I anticipate exceeding my original estimate. Also, whenever possible, I work on a flat-fee basis. This is a sure way to remove any surprises.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always connect with a potential client, first, in-person or over the phone. This allows me to learn more about the kind of legal assistance a potential client needs and ensures that I am suited to do the job. Provided a client wishes to move forward, I then send the client an Engagement Agreement, a document that formalizes the relationship and includes important details like the services I'm going to provide and the terms of payment. Once that Agreement is signed, then I either converse more with the client or get to work.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The majority of my clients are start-ups and small businesses.
