FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I need to know how long your project is: either by number of words ( eg: 560 words ), or by finished time ( eg: 30 seconds). That is how the price of the project is determined. I usually ask for 1/2 of the cost up front. After that, I need the script and any details you can give me about how you need it to sound. Then I'll record the project and send it back to you. You can listen and ask for any changes (no extra cost for up to 2 pickups). Once you're happy with the recording, you can pay the remainder of the fee.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I originally trained through Voice Coaches, a New York-based training company for voice actors. I attend the Midwest Voice Over Conference yearly to keep up with what's happening in the industry. And I've just finished 6 weeks of personal acting lessons with an acting coach.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with clients all over the United States and around the world, including Canada, India, and Uruguay. I narrate audiobooks, voice radio and TV commercials, do cartoon voices, narrate eLearning projects and explainer videos, and really, anything that needs a voice without a face! My clients include major companies like CVS Pharmacy, TMobile, and Marathon Oil, as well as small, local business.
