We hired NRE to paint a 2 bedroom condo for resale. The job was completed within 6 days. The price was lower than most other contractors and the work was fine. On the day we met with him to do an onsite estimate, he said he thought he could have the estimate to us later that day. He ended up not responding that day/night but when we reached out to him the following day, he apologized and gave us the quote. No big deal! He told us the amount/types of paint he needed and we provided those so he could begin the project. He expected to complete the project by Friday, but we were at the property Friday and it was not complete and he was not there. Again...no big deal as it was clearly near completion. However, we expected it probably wouldn’t be done until the following business day (Monday). We were not concerned at all! However, the job was apparently completed over the weekend because we were emailed an invoice on a Sunday evening (April 22, 2018 at 4:30pm). Since we had not expected the invoice until Monday, we simply planned to pay it Monday evening. Before we had a chance, he had emailed us back to threaten a lien on the property. While we totally respect that NRE deserves to be paid promptly, it did seen very heavy handed after we had been relaxed about other minor timeline discrepancies. So for that we would rate NRE 4 stars instead of 5.

Great experience with Andy! We are first time home owners and had an issue where our shower and toilet were unknowingly leaking onto the first floor ceiling. It had been happening a long time and we had just figured it out. We had Andy out for an estimate and he had so many great ideas and was so positive! It really helped put me at ease since I had no idea what to expect. We received two other estimates and they were comparable to Andy’s, but Andy had his in first. When it comes to water damage- time matters! After demo day he had so many ideas for me. I never used the shower because it was too small and made me claustrophobic. He found some extra room where we got creative and made a bench of quartz to open up the shower more. I love it! Quality workmanship, hard-working, always on time, trustworthy, and clean! Highly recommend Andy and NRE Renovations!
