FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The best advice I could give any customer looking to hire a contractor is very simply, call some references! Don't always worry about the cheapest price, just make sure you have a competitive offer from a competent licensed and insured contractor. As someone who employs people on an everyday basis to remove and replace the roof on your home I can assure you that the wrong company on top of your house can make things go extremely bad in a hurry, also you want to make sure that if there is a slight mistake or something overlooked that you have a contractor who will take care of you after the fact, you can do all this by doing a 5-minute online search at the Better Business Bureau website. Platinum Roofing and Restoration Llc, employees well-trained installation professionals and we are an "A-Plus" rated company with a perfect reputation for taking care of our customers and their property both before and after the sale!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I don't think this needs to really be a complicated process your contractor should be there to help you answer a lot of your questions. However, I would as a customer want to know a ballpark cost estimate, (Not a "per square price" those are always misleading!) but a high and a low number. This is something you could easily find out on several websites online, one in particular is homewyse.com enter a few basic details of your job and it'll give you a ballpark high and low price, of course it's not going to be completely accurate to the details you want to have done but you'll be able to make more educated decision based on what details you are able to input. keep in mind contractors base their cost estimates on sometimes many unknown or unforeseen factors, so a simple checklist on a website won't be a hundred percent accurate but it does provide a Baseline number of today's going rate for services and material in your area.
