- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on days on the job. I charge between $250 and $500 or more a day depending on the complicity of the design. Some times a big project is simpler than a small one. My estimates include always my expenditures and sketches.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Commissioned art is an artist-client partnership. I love to know about my clients, I take the necessary time to understand what they want and why. For me talk with them is very important and give me the guideline to start sketching or searching for different options. I'm always open to modify whatever the client is not comfortable with because I understand that acquire a mural is a big decision and I'm willing to do whatever is needed to satisfy my clients.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm an Art Teacher. I went to Art School in Argentina but was not till I visit some European countries that I got in love with the mural techniques. I took then some tromp l'oeil technique classes form different artist and start my mural business. I never finish my learning for after 25 years doing murals still today if a client is specific in one style or artist I go back to the books eager to learn a new way to accomplish a wonderful mural.
