FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing should depend on the number of hours or days along with the # of locations. Do you want one cameraman or 2-3? For weddings it ideal to have a teaser or highlight video around 2-3 mins that can be shown to everyone outside of family. Easy to watch and keeps attention while showing the best parts of the day. Then have a full video around 6-10 minutes long with more details, speech highlights etc. This will be treasured by the bride and groom and direct family members. One of the things I like to do is get the video turned around within 24-48 hours of wedding. We usually make both physical DVD and digital copies of all videos on a thumb drive or USB so you have access to them always.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to communicate by text and phone calls. Set up initial phone call to discuss high level details and plans and expectations. Then a quick in person meeting to meet bride and groom and learn personalities and discuss what means the most to them.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started filming when I was young but I did my first wedding video about 10 years ago and fell in love.
