FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee schedule is on my website under "Policies".
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We can take care of everything over the internet. Once you choose to proceed with me, I will send you a virtual request for all of the documents I need. Once you have uploaded everything into the system, I will process it within two business days. Assuming I did not need anything further, I will get you the final tax return documents to sign. I then e-file everything for you. You can pay my bill online (ACH or credit card).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Enrolled agents (EAs) are America’s tax experts. We are the only federally-licensed tax practitioners that specialize in taxation and also have unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS. That means that if you get a letter from the IRS, or worse, are audited or are the target of a collection action, your EA can speak directly to the IRS on your behalf. While attorneys and certified public accountants are also licensed, only enrolled agents specialize exclusively in taxes. Enrolled agents are required to complete many hours of continuing education each year to ensure they are up-to-date on the constantly changing tax code and must abide by a code of ethics.
