I am very greatful for Ari. He was the first lawyer I spoke to who didn't make me feel pressured to buy his services. He was very straight forward and approachable. Given his experience, I trusted his advice as well. If my family ever needed legal help, I would immediately refer them to Ari and I would absolutely use him again if needed.Jun 4, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My retainer fee starts at $2900, but each case is unique with unique challenges; thus, a final estimate requires a phone consultation. Additionally, I offer payment plans and accept all major credit cards.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? In general, most clients prefer to have their initial consultation over the phone because it's the most convenient. Also, because of my very busy court schedule, I can typically arrange a phone consultation sooner than an office visit. However, I offer office consultations as well and allow my clients to choose. During my free initial consultation, we would discuss your case and I'd do my best to answer all your questions. Most initial consults last about 20 minutes. But don't worry; I won't kick you off the phone if you have further questions beyond 20 minutes. If, after our consultation, you decide you're interested in retaining me, I email you an engagement letter (fee contract), which outlines the terms of my representation. My contract is electronic, meaning clients sign electronically right on their computer, tablet, or smartphone. For payments, I have a form where you'd enter your credit card or checking account information and I later process the payment. Once you are my client, I begin working on your case. For example, I make all court appearances for you, begin my investigation, gather discovery (the evidence), begin negotiations with the DA's Office, etc. Throughout the process, I'll keep you updated. Some clients like to be heavily involved; others prefer to be contacted only as necessary. I'm happy either way. Of course, if I need to conduct further interviews with you about specifics, I'll arrange for us to meet. Ultimately, the majority of my clients' cases resolve without the need for them to even go to court. However, some cases require more client involvement than others. And some require fighting all the way to a jury trial. In those cases, I work extensively with clients to prepare them for trial. For example, if I believe your case would benefit from you taking the stand and testifying, before trial, we'd role play and I'd cross-examine you like a prosecutor so that way you'd feel as prepared and comfortable as possible before stepping foot into a courtroom.
