Introduction: My aim as a personal trainer is to help you the client to achieve optimum fitness. In so doing it is necessary to treat you as an individual. Your needs differ from others which means individualized training is required. Should you choose me as your personal trainer, one of the first steps will be to do a movement assessment. This is designed to enable me to pinpoint any faulty movement patterns caused by muscle imbalances. Having identified which muscles need attention, a program of corrective exercises will be developed to bring back the muscle balance. So, first we will correct all muscle imbalances and then develop the muscles. Training begins with core stabilization and progresses to optimum fitness. By using this approach it will minimize the risk of injury and unnecessary delays to training, by first focusing on that area of the body most responsible for all movements - "the core "! Once you have this phase of the training under your belt we then move on to muscle endurance, strength and power. This approach is proven to be the best tried and tested route to injury free enjoyable training. Let's get started today !!! Many of us spend too long contemplating the possibility of engaging in physical exercise. While the interest is very much alive in us there is also that dread of donning a pair of shorts and heading out the door to the local park to do a few laps or stopping by the local gym. Years of experience working with people in fitness training has brought home to me one very important fact: It needs to be fun! Training works better for us when it is enjoyable and goals are easier met when there's enjoyment in trying to achieve them. That being said, there's no escaping the hard work necessary to be successful. There's no easy way to transform you into the person you want to be. That takes determination, staying power and drive. You have to want it! I enjoy the role of being the person who appreciates and encourages all of your efforts, while also inspiring you to be the very best that you can be. When you challenge your mind and body, you grow physically and mentally. But it's the systematic and consistent workload placed of that body that develops the spirt and once achieved there's no looking back. Another thing I enjoy very much, is watching you grow in the understanding of how the body reacts to exercise. Whilst enjoying the newly found skills, you also see the changes taking place with each milestone that is met. My name is Eileen, and I moved from Ireland to Trinidad & Tobago in September 2015. As anyone knows moving to a new job & country comes with a certain degree of stress and pressure. Having led an active fitness routine in Ireland and gaining 6 pounds in my first 3 months in Trinidad, I was becoming very frustrated with both myself and trying to find a gym and trainer that I could feel comfortable with. It was also necessary that I find one that would fit in with my very hectic work schedule. I was recommended Lenny (Lenworth) in March 2016, and scheduled in my 1st class with him immediately. Since then I have been training with him approx 2 to 3 times a week. Despite the fact that my work involves long hours with lots of travel outside of Trinidad, he made every effort to accommodate and fit me at all times despite some last minute requests from me. From Day 1, he worked on building up my strength, pushed me hard but never to the point where it was not safe and always paid close attention to ensuring I was using all of the equipment and weights correctly. This is something that he excelled in. He also demonstrated to me the importance of stretching at the end of each class (something I had never really done before). After 3 months, I have seen such an improvement in my body shape, I have toned up and best news of all I have lost those additional pounds and my clothes are now fitting me again. My confidence, strength and energy is back. He also taught me the importance of eating well and recommended the type of foods to eat for my body shape and lifestyle. To say that I am going to miss Lenny when he moves to his new life in Texas is an understatement. He is without doubt one of the most professional, good humored and experienced trainer I have every worked with. Nothing is every a hassle with Lenny and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He will change your life.

Lenny worked over a period of about six months with our 12-year old son, we'll call him "Frank," a hyper-articulate but irresponsible ADHD kid whose favorite physical activity is mousing with his right hand while snacking with his left, and who previously resolutely resisted all attempts to engage him in sports or exercise. Lenny realized that if he engaged Frank's brain, his body would follow. Lenny made the training sessions fun (in part, by patiently and attentively listening to Frank’s passions of the day) so that Frank looked forward to them, and even took some responsibility for being ready to start on time. The training focused on core strength and karate kata. Physically, we saw Frank's ability to move increase markedly over time, going from a slumping lumber to movements that approached grace. Mentally and emotionally, Frank developed a strong desire to live up to Lenny’s expectations and take responsibility for his own nutrition and physical activity. I don’t know how we will find someone else with Lenny’s patience, humor, and calm discipline to play a similar role in Frank’s life, but I believe Lenny’s work over the past six months has awakened in Frank a sense of self-discipline and responsibility that will continue to develop. Having tried ourselves to begin that awakening, we cannot be more appreciative of what Lenny has accomplished in this short time period. Our only regret is that we couldn’t find the time for Lenny to be our trainer too.

Personal trainer. Punctual and very knowledgeable and upgrades his skills regularly. Comprehensive assessment of my needs for the level I was at. Very supportive and encouraging. Easily accessible and friendly. Great planning, let me know what I needed to do to reach my goals and timelines of how long it could have taken once I was loyal to the programme set out. The only challenge I had was my own and even then he was accommodating. Any one who gets him as a personal trainer is very lucky in my opinion. Get ready to WORK!!!
