We don’t use a blanket approach, instead Off Grid customizes each solar power system to meet the needs and budget of our customers, resulting in a more self sufficient lifestyle.

The folks at Off Grid by Design were part of the team that originally installed my solar panels, when the original installer went out of Business, Charles Bush at Off Grid took over maintenance/repair without charging me anything beyond cost. I had a few early adopter problems and in one case Off Grid folks replaced the inverters at no cost to me (the early batches of the inverters had an issue fixed in later versions). I especially appreciated that given the driving distance.
In the other case squirrels ate into my wiring and the cost to replace the wiring with even better wiring was done by the Off grid folks at below market rates in supporting my system. So when I wanted an upgrade to the system by upgrading ten panels on the original system to more powerful ones and essentially moving 6 of the original panels to my back porch I had them do the work. Although I had some problems with what the original installer had installed, everything Off Grid has touched has continued to work marvelously.
I highly recommend their work.
For trivia, my solar system has paid itself off and I am essentially making a profit at this point with a $8.54 electric bill every month I am extremely happy I encountered the folks who now own Off Grid by Design.

Off Grid By Design installed 28 solar panels on my house roof 2011. The excess energy generated makes the meter run backwards. They work through a foot of snow, which shortly removes itself; wiping clean the panel surfaces. Professional job that has lasted years.
