- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We tell you what our fees and costs are upfront and put it in writing. Our Thumbtack exclusive: $1,395.00 for a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy all-inclusive fee, which applies to cases involving an individual filer with up to 20 creditors and debt totaling $75,000 or less. We offer payment plans to meet your financial needs. Once you retain our services, you are our client and you may direct all creditors, who are calling or harassing you, to call our office.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We can start with a free 10-minute phone consultation to get acquainted and briefly discuss your situation. Then a free 30-minute in-person office consultation to review your situation and options. We understand filing for bankruptcy is a serious matter and we seek to provide you with the best information so you can make an informed decision.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an honors graduate from the University of Southern California (USC) with a degree in Economics. I graduated from University of San Diego, School of Law and passed the California State Bar exam the first time. I have continued my legal education by taking over 500 hours of post-graduate courses in bankruptcy and real estate. I also took specialty courses for lawyers in Litigation and Trial Advocacy at the premier Hastings College of Advocacy and the San Diego Inn of Court and have served as a judge pro-tem. In the last 25 years, I have successfully counseled and represented individuals, families, and businesses with debt problems. My law firm and I have filed over 3,500 Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases. In addition, I have knowledge and experience in real estate and mortgages.
