FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work on a sliding scale that can work with anyone’s financial position. My normal price is $75, but if the client pays at time of booking, they can lock in at $65. All others can be on a case by case basis. I don’t want someone to not get help because of a fee. I do not accept insurance. However, I can provide a receipt for the session so that a client can submit to their insurance for reimbursement.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After all the legal paperwork is done, I start with a get-to-know-you time and background of the problem. At the end of every session there will be homework the client(s) will need to do to put into practice at home from what we discussed in session. At the next session, we will discuss how the homework affected life at home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in psychology and a masters degree in marriage and family therapy. My master's program was at a Christian school which intertwined Christian values with secular requirements. I am also a Prepare & Enrich facilitator.
