Introduction: Hello!!! My name is Chef John Tandy, and I am here to provide superior quality banquet and private chef services. I have been in the culinary industry for over 25 years, and I am greatly passionate about food. I am a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park NY. I have held many positions in the culinary field, from opening up a restaurant in Manhattan NY, to the Banquet chef of a large resort in Captiva FL, and a large casino in Lincoln, California.
I am very passionate about cooking. I enjoy cooking all varieties of cuisine and am well-versed in Asian, Mediterranean, French, and spa cuisines

We had an amazing experience with Chef John. From beginning to end. He was detailed oriented. He let us choose how involved or hands off we wanted to be. Don’t let his affordability fool you! He is top quality through and through!!

Chef John catered a graduation party for our school. It was so special. The kids, the parents and the faculty loved it! He was extremely easy to work with and I look forward to working with him again at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Thank You Chef John!!! Your are a cut above the rest!

I hired Chef John to cater an event for me. He was so easy to work with. He understood exactly what I was looking for and was able to work within my budget. The food was delicious and made me look like a superstar in front of my guests. I would highly recommend him.

Working with Chef John to coordinate a dinner/cooking experience was a breeze! John was very professional and responsive when it came to planning. He was very flexible with the menu and the cooking experience. When it came to the cooking, he let the group be as involved and immersive as they wanted. The food he prepared were fresh and delicious! I highly recommend his services for anyone looking to do something different for a girls night or weekend getaway.

We hired Chef John to cook and teach dinner for 7. He did an excellent job working with us to design the perfect menu, his pricing was so affordable for the 5 star menu and price he delivered. He was right on time, and walked through how to make some of the dishes as we requested. He was very professional and great at keeping us entertained while working his magic in the kitchen as we hung around the kitchen island chatting. He had dinner prepared right on time and the dishes were the best I’ve had of each, from scallops, to a veggie salad, to the branzino and filet entree, finished with the best creme brûlée ever! On top of all this wonderfulness, Chef John brought everything and cleaned up everything too! He left no footprint at the house, aside the custom menus, recipes, and chef hats he made for us! 100% recommend you hire him before he becomes too famous and books up!!!
