When I purchased my home, the kitchen came with an outdated dropped ceiling lightbox. I removed the lightbox frame and had recessed lights installed, but I just couldn't get the rest of the project completed. The bare, unpatched ceiling sat for months! I contacted John and he was knowledgeable and professional. He did a fantastic job patching the various areas of the ceiling and the edges where the frame of the light box had been. I am so happy with the results. I work full-time and John was able to work with my schedule. I would definitely recommend John and his work!

John did a great job, we had two difficult work for him to do, one was replacing a part of our bathroom subfloor around the toilet evacuation, the other job was to install a bathroom vanity in an odd place (small bathroom with side pipe which involved to cut the side of vanity, cut the pipes , plus adding some laminate floor under the vanity). He's not the fastest to work, but first his price was more than reasonable, and secondly we liked the fact he wasn't jumping on things without thinking first. With him, we are confident that our subfloor and vanity will stay in place for long. We will for sure recommend him and call him again!

John was on time and handled everything perfectly. He hung 3 very heavy mirrors for me, installed shades in my windows, hung up a work board, assembled a table for me, figured out how to weather strip my awkward back door and put a heavy rug up against a concrete wall in my garage. He is very skilled and came with all sorts of tools. I will absolutely be hiring him again!

Each job is different so each price is different. I usually work by the hour plus the cost of any materials I supply.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to use new customers the same as longtime customers. I expect payment at completion of the job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to school to be an architectural draftsman. I have been in construction as a carpenter, supervisor, purchasing agent, draftsman, estimator, and more since the early seventies.
