FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge per hour for shoots. The fee will include time spent shooting and editing afterwards. Additional charges include consideration of traveling and the price of lenses or equipment rented if necessary.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The most effective photo shoots work when the client–photographer relationship is strong. Before I begin taking pictures, I like to get to know the subject if it is for portrait work. If I'm photographing an event, I take time to speak with my client to understand exactly what they are looking for. If I am promoting a product, I make sure to send my work to the client as I work to ensure that the final work is what they are looking for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working as a freelance photographer for the last two years. I currently study graphic design at Northeastern University, but love to travel around Boston with my camera to practice my photography as much as I can.
