I hired Crystal well in advance to do hair and makeup for my bridal party. I wanted to make sure it was all booked and taken care of so I wouldnt have to worry about it so I asked if she needed a deposit to hold the date and she said no and that we were booked and good to go. 2 weeks before my wedding I messaged her asking a couple questions. I followed up a little bit later after I didn't hear back and she still did not respond. I ended up scrambling to hire a new hair and makeup person for my party. My wedding just passed this weekend and I still have not received a response. I hired quite a few vendors for my wedding through thumbtack and this was the only let down. If you hire her, definitely have a plan B.
