FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My basic fee is $75 per page which is completely negotiable depending on the project. My strong suit is fiction, dramatic and creative writing but as a free-lance yoga instructor and working actress I've done plenty of advertising copy for flyers, brochures and web content for myself and other entrepreneurial colleagues.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Let's talk! We have to know each other and refine the approach we'll take to making you successful.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
On top of my work as a professional actress which requires meticulous study and interpretation of text I've completed several writing classes and workshops including UCLA Extension "Screen Writing on the Right Side of the Brain," with Bonnie MacBird ("Tron" and its sequel), SAG's Career Transitions for Dancers Writer's Group, NoHo Arts (North Hollywood, CA) Writers Group where my story line in a collaborative play that received two successful productions and was favorably mentioned in the LA Times review. I adapted the piece into a short film which we've just finished editing and will submit to festivals this year. I'm currently workshopping a TV pilot in a professional writer's workshop run by Joe Dain, (Terror Films, Sunrise Pictures) busy Hollywood producer whose many accomplishments can be searched on Imdb. Non-fiction has been published in Long Beach's Grunion Gazette and Downtown News, online with the Recovery View Journal and I'm finishing a book-length yoga text for substance abusers in recovery. Preparing "Unbelievably, It's Love," a short story collection for publication later this year.
