Introduction: Ministry for life. The Talents is a ministry of Christian HMong Regeneration In Spiritual Transformation (CHRIST) Ministry. Rev. Dr. Paul Joseph T. Khamdy Yang is the Chaplain Evangelist. He has a Bachelor of Arts from University of the Pacific, Masters of Divinity from Claremont School of Theology, and Doctor of Ministry from Wesley Theological Seminary. He completed one year Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Residency from Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento. Rev. Yang commenced his ministry since 1995. In 1992, Dr. Yang married his high school sweetheart. God has blessed them with ten godly children.
Here are some of our ministries for life that we provide:
Relationship for life. Dr. Yang is a Facilitator for PREPARE/ENRICH, a leading relationship inventory and skill-building program used nationally and internationally. The program is built on a solid research foundation and significantly improves a couple's relationship, identifies a couple's strength and growth areas, and provides couple exercises to build their relationship skills. It is one of the most widely used programs for premarital counseling and premarital education. It is also used for marriage counseling, marriage enrichment, and dating couples considering engagement.
Talents for life. Dr. Yang is a Coordinator for Financial Peace University. In small life groups, we offer emotional and spiritual support to children, young adults, adults, and older adults.
Resurrection for life. As a pastor who happened to be a HMong, not just American funerals, we also provide HMong Christian funeral services to people of all faith.
We speak English and HMong.
The joy to transform one couple at a time. There are several goals of the PREPARE/ENRICH Program, as a trained facilitator, that Dr. Paul Joseph Yang would like to accomplish. In order to achieve these goals there are exercises designed to help couples improve their relationship skills. The program helps couples:
• Explore strength and growth areas
• Strengthen communication skills
• Identify and manage major stressors
• Resolve conflict using the Ten Step Model
• Develop a more balanced relationship
• Explore family of origin issues
• Discuss financial planning and budgeting
• Establish personal, couple and family goals
• Understand and appreciate personality differences
The joy of a godly family.
