Elementary Education Tutoring

Do you understand the new Common Core/MLS standards? Not many people in our generation do and yet, as parents, we are expected to help our children with their homework on a nightly basis! This is where I come in! I attended one of St. Louis premier private schools, moved on to Colgate University with a triple major in Education, Sociology and Anthropology and have since taught for the last 10 years. Let me bring a new approach and a new level of energy to homework and restore your child's desire to learn. I love working with children; my favorite moment is when a child understands things for the first time. A lightbulb goes off in his/her head and they get excited about the process. Now that I have two of my own, I understand how important it is that each child have someone that believes in them 100% and I believe I can provide that in a tutoring setting because there are no factors that will distract them.
