When I started my search for a wedding make up artist, I was extremely self conscious to go to anyone because of a lifelong struggle with terrible skin. I've never wanted to have someone "see" my skin without my usual cover up routine, as I struggle with both dry and oily skin and large pores that make me feel uncomfortable to be in public naturally.
But Jen changed this for me. Not only did she jump right into my rescue to set up a trial appointment just 3 months before my wedding, but she really made me feel better about my skin and even took the time to educate me about what products I should and shouldn't be using, and what style make up applications will give me the results I am looking for!
After the trial, she followed up to see how I felt about it hours after the application and if it was still giving me the results I was looking for! I was blown away that after 8+ hours, my face wasn't getting "shiny" from oily skin and my eyeliner wasn't smudging all over my eye lid, like it does when I do my own make up. It was a dream come true and EXACTLY what I needed for my wedding day!
We had some back and forth leading up to the wedding to make sure we were both on the same page of some of the slight changes we were going to make and she was with me every step of the way. Jen and her assistant were prompt on the wedding day and fit right in with my bridal party and family! Once again, making everyone feel comfortable and laughing with us as we got ready for the rest of the day. They were even able to accommodate last minute requests for a couple of family members that changed their mind and wanted to have their make up done (life savers!) last minute!
When I walked down the aisle, I had never felt more beautiful and more confident to show off MY skin. And even better, my husband was SO happy, that even with my make up professionally done, he still saw "me" at the end of the aisle - the exact look I wanted on our wedding day :)
And once again, not only did my make up last 8+ hours, it lasted twice that amount of time AND through an outdoor photoshoot in the rain at our Venue!!! Amazingggg doesn't even begin to describe the worth of having Jen as my make up artist. Her talent is incomparable and I can't wait to refer her to whomever may need the perfect wedding touch!

Jennifer did my makeup for my wedding. She was so amazing, I had her do my makeup for my babyshower as well. Both times she did the exact look I wanted. She is knowledeable, professional and super talented. I recommend her to everyone looking to get their makeup done for any special event!

Jennifer Boss was AMAZING!! She showed up early to set up for my wedding. She helped each one of my bridesmaids create a look that was comfortable for them and I felt like she was truly there to make my special day special! She helped me feel beautiful and comfortable in my own skin. She was chatty and you could feel a connection with her as she created the look that was best suited for you! I would use her again with another special occasion!

Jen has the ability to figure out how we want our makeup to look. She takes the time to listen and then go to work to make it happen. She tells us that beauty is not a one size fit all concept, and makes us all feel beautiful in our own skin (literally!).

Her name says it all! Jen is a total boss in every aspect of her work. I had a big presentation for school and wanted something that was professional but, ya kno, still glam. She nailed it ! I felt so beautiful and confident and totally rocked my speech. She is super personable and made me feel 100% comfortable (never had my makeup professionally done before). I will absolutely use Jen again !
