FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Commission is negotiable and very competitive. Home buyers usually do not pay commission. If you are selling your home, your commission rate is typically split between both agents involved. (buy side/sell side) I take great care in my relationship with my clients and have their best interest at heart. Stress-free transactions are my specialty.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is important to meet with you to determine your plans and goals. If you are selling your home, I will have you give me a tour and then see how comparable homes are priced. We will come up with a price together and I will explain the marketing plan and entire process soup to nuts. (Effective marketing includes Listing timing/Open House strategies; door knocking; professional photos, social media outreach; networking; calls and emails to realtors with matching buyer clients via MLS). I will negotiate to get you the best offer and stand by that throughout the process. For my buyer clients, I think outside the box to find your perfect home and negotiate with your best interest. In this market, there are certain strategies to help you 'win the bid' so to speak. I am available to search to find your perfect home; take you on showing appointments and watch throughout the day for new listings with your parameters. I look forward to meeting you!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors Degree in Finance from Boston College and a Web Design Certificate. Your home is one of the most valuable assets in a persons portfolio. I understand the financial impact of buying or selling a home and also know how to market, based on the best systems available. This has worked to my advantage, as recently I assisted my buyer that did not have a down payment saved, to access retirement funds; without a taxable consequence. She was able then to compete and win the offer on her dream home. I always have them consult and verify with their Financial Contact/Advisor.
