Introduction: Fine Print Farms is an Equestrian Boarding & Eventing Facility in the Texas Hill Country. We specialize in English, Dressage, Show Jumping & Cross Country, but also teach some Western Riding Styles as well. Namely Western Pleasure & Western Dressage. Our Riding Lesson focus is to equip our riders for life through instilling self confidence while teaching responsibility, courage & self discipline. We also feel it is important for our students to learn how to care for their equine friends. Each student will learn how how groom, tack & untack their horses and will have the opportunity to learn how much care horses require. We love to share our love of horses.

I started taking riding lessons at Fine Print Farms last year. I had learned the basics as a teenager, but hadn’t been able to ride for about 15 years. I immediately fell in love with FPF. Every single instructor I have had, even if I just needed a substitute for one lesson, has taught me so much. They know when to push you safely, so you get the most out of your lesson. I have learned so much in the past year, to the point of being able to compete in my first dressage show. The lesson horses are excellent. Very patient and very well trained. Each horse has its own strengths and weaknesses that you can use to build your own skills, as well as continuing to develop the horse’s skills as you progress through lessons. I recently started taking lessons from Shana. She is great! She has been working on building my core strength and fine tuning my basic skills, so I can begin to learn some intermediate dressage skills. Shana also makes sure to make the lesson interesting, so you don’t get stuck in a routine. I know she will also critique my riding, so I can continually improve. She is very patient as well. I highly recommend Fine Print Farms. Whether you are an adult looking for lessons, or a parent searching for stables for your child/ children, there are horses for each skill level. If I had children of my own, I would trust them to the horses and trainers at FPF.
