Josh Nathan Music

Introduction: As a multi-instrumentalist, I tend to focus on musicality and ear training for my students. I always cater my students lessons to learn exactly what they'd like to, instead of using some generic material that can be found online or in a book. I'm based in San Diego, but tour quite often all over the western U.S. I offer lessons in-person and remotely, and have been teaching for a few years with great success now! Learning music should be fun and rewarding for both the teacher and the student. I studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, then performed on cruise ships for a few years. I do believe that music can heal many things, not only globally but also personally. The meditative qualities of playing, practicing, and performing are ever-present; they are occurring even if the musician is not conscious of them. It means the world and more to me if I can be a positive influence on someone's life, it just so happens that I find teaching music to be the best way for me to exhibit that influence.
