Introduction: Seve (seh-vee) is the name, photography’s the game. You can also call me Sev for short. When it comes to my portrait photography, my goal is to bring out the best in the subject's features and capture candid moments that you just can't fake. Although I am the guy behind the camera and finding the compositions, I believe this is a collaborative process in trying to find what the client want to display and how I can execute that vision for them. My clients needs range from professional headshot photography, to social media influencer projects. When I work with small businesses I take interior shots to capture their establishment’s unique personality. Businesses put a lot of time and effort developing their business and carefully laying out their stores so I try to make sure to portray that. Seve is very passionate about photography. After looking at his previous photoshoots, I knew that he was the photographer I wanted to shoot with. He pays close attention to the fine details. During the photo shoot, he would position you in a way that is most aesthetically pleasing. He also walked me through his photo editing and really worked with me on what I liked and what I did not like. He was really receptive to working with me as opposed to many photographers that do not like any input. Overall a great photographer. He takes quality shots! I would highly recommend him.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After figuring out what the client wants and knowing that I’m fit for the job, we usually figure out the time and location. In preparation for the shoot, the client could send a mood board to give me a better idea of how they want the photos to come out. We would then shoot and within a couple of weeks, I would have the edited photos back to the client. From there I would make any adjustments needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Personal experience is the best education. I’ve just gone out there and learned everything I could from professionals on the field and experimenting with friends in my own time.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Friends always liked the photos I took for them on my phone and it’s always been interesting to me. I decided to upgrade to a DSLR camera and get more technical and fell in love with photography. Before I knew it, people were offering to pay me for my work.
